Once you have placed your order online, you will then receive an email with your order confirmation. We offer FREE shipping to customers in Canada who order more than $80.00. Some limitations apply to remote areas. At Markcol we pride ourselves on fast and efficient shipping. Therefore we use a variety of shipping carriers. Tracking information will be provided via email on qualifying orders. We offer local delivery to customers from Newcastle to Ajax, south of Taunton Road. Local deliveries are made Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you order before 11AM on these days and qualify for local deliveries you will receive your order same day (some limitations apply).

Shipping times may vary depending on location. If you happen to live in a remote area and extra delivery costs are associated with your order, or the weight for an item you are purchasing is beyond what is considered ‘regular cubic weight’ you will be notified of any extra charges before you complete the transaction. At this point, you may contact us to discuss the order or you may choose to cancel your order.

Note: this would only happen in rare cases where a delivery address is beyond the
shipping carrier’s pickup/drop area, or you order a skid of Sugar. It is better to
contact us first should you have any concerns. Once you confirm any extra costs
that are associated with your order and we have it shipped, there is no going back. Markcol also retains the right to refuse delivery to any address and/or cancel any shipments at any time.

The following Postal Codes do not qualify for free shipping and a rate will be
generated once your order is received. We will contact you to confirm your
acceptance of the Remote Location Surcharge that apply to each order.

ORDERING
There are 3 ways to order from Markcol. You can use our website, email us directly at markcol@markcoldistribution.com, or call us directly at (905) 623-2242.

All orders must be paid in full before any goods are shipped. Markcol does not offer rain-checks on specials or promotions, nor do we ship back ordered products. If an item is out of stock you can feel free to contact us for an eta. Items are updated in real time when we receive them. Once an order is shipped the order can no longer be edited. If you missed an item or need to edit your order in any way please contact us as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to change our pricing. If it is found that we have made an error in pricing an item on our site, Markcol reserves the right to correct the price and notify you of our error. At that point we will contact you, make you aware of our mistake and see if you want to proceed with the order at the correct price or of course give you the option to cancel the order in it’s entirety. This is really just a mechanism to make sure that any technical glitches don’t get out of hand. We operate with a policy of honesty and integrity each and everyday and want you to shop with us each and every time you need coffee and tea.

SECURITY
Our site is secure. We do not record, track or keep Credit Card numbers on file.
When you enter your Credit Card information rest assured that the information you have provided is never viewed by our staff. It goes directly to Shopify and they settle the transaction for us both. Phone in orders are completed in real time and credit card numbers are not kept, stored or recorded in any way other than relayed to Shopify. Credit card numbers are stored within the order and encrypted. The credit card can only then be used to issue a refund and you will be notified of this via email. 

RETURNS
If for some reason you are not satisfied with a product purchased from our site you have the right to return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase with  your original purchase receipt. We cannot refund or exchange any food items for obvious reasons. This is a policy that we have to stand behind for the safety and well being of all of our customers. Food items include, but are not limited to K-Cup, loose tea, fresh ground coffee etc. If you are returning any hardware or brewing system to us it must contain the original packaging and be free from any damage. If you are unable to visit one of our locations and must ship the item to us for a return or exchange, the cost to ship will be at the customers cost.
